CLOVEN HOOF- THE OPENING RITUAL LP!!

Nearly 30 years after its original release on the band's own Elemental records we are more than proud to present the reissue of the bands first official release The Opening Ritual! The most obscure Cloven Hoof material, the ep showed the world the first taste of the bands occult epic power metal and then disappeared only to be unearthed by the more agressive vinyl hunters of the world over the years for highly inflated prices.

We were looking for additional material for the release when Lee said he had recently found the first 1982 demo from the band. We were hoping the quality would be good, what we heard stunned us. A demo of equal quality in sound and songs to the Opening Ritual.The demo includes "That's the way it goes", Return of the Passover", "Road of Eagles" and "A Piece of the Action".

Presented in 500 copies with a reproduction sleeve, black vinyl and the coolest poster you've ever seen. COLD MOURNING-COLDER THAN THOU DLP!!

MISTY AND MISERABLE!-This will be in on 05/16/2011 and will contain godly Cold Mourning Demo's, songs from the splits with Twisted Tower Dire, While Heaven Wept, Officium Triste and the song from the Miskatonic At the Mountains of Madness compilation. Also included are some killer unreleased stuff from rehearsals etc and an eight page book with photos/lyrics/old demo stuff etc..... Two slabs of thick black vinyl and gatefold cover.

Until now the Cold Mourning recordings have been next to impossible to track down but now the band will see the respect and glory they deserve. Unrelenting heaviness,unreal soloing and honesty to produce some of the best doom metal period. Act accordingly.

The Cold Mourning Demo dlp is due to be delivered to these shores on 05/07/2011...some of the most killer US DOOM ever. The Cloven Hoof- Opening Ritual ep plus 1982 Lost Demo will be ready late May...The most obscure Hoof material...fucking awesome!!!

Also pressing now is the Genocide- Stench of Burning Death lp...Their three ground breaking and genre defining demos one one vinyl with killer 12 page book. A history lesson in Death Metal Noise!!! Ready Late May as well.

SATAN-INTO THE FIRE LP + KISS OF DEATH 7"

Every self respecting metal head knows and recognizes the ultra classic of Satan's Court in the Act lp as one of the greatest metal records of all time(Save for Popoff). Maybe fewer know that much of the record was already written and demo'd with Ian Swift on vocals(of Avenger) prior to Brian Ross stepping in. The Into the Fire Demo stands among the finest NWOBHM Demos ever recorded! Originally released only on tape in 1982 this is the first vinyl version of the demo. As bonus tracks, included are Oppression and The Executioner from the 1981 Demo/Roxcaliber compilation. A separate bonus 7" is also included with the other two demo tracks from 1981 as a reproduction of the Kiss of Death single.

Also included is an eight page booklet(12x12)with demo tape artwork/early articles/Roxcalibur art etc and unreal pictures showing an incredibly young Satan caught in the act of Church and Grave desecration! The package finishes off with an A2 size gig poster with an original Satan gig poster artwork. Simply essential.

While the Judgement of the Dead lp pictured belowe sold out very quickly this will be repressed in the future so please do not go hunting on ebay spending a small fortune. The Lords of Hypocrisy dlp is still available form the distros if you do not have it yet. There will also me more Pagan Altar announcements shortly.

Of course everything Pagan Altar does is in our eyes is beyond criticism. Mandatory and life changing Heavy Metal.
